Torrey Mortenson
Torrey Mortenson is a research scientist in the Human Factors and Reliability department at Idaho National Laboratory. Torrey’s research interests span a breadth of Human Factors topics including, but never limited to: Human-Computer Interaction, Design Philosophy and Ethics, Human Reliability Analysis, Cognitive Modeling and Computational Psychology, User-Centered Design and more. Torrey takes pride in his ability to relate to users across many disciplines in addition to the fact he can still do a cartwheel (though a nap or medical treatment may be required after). Outside of work he spends his time with his wife, Candice, and three amazing daughters. He also enjoys playing video games, absorbing random and useless information, and arguing with said wife about old movie details.
