His research interests include human reliability analysis and probabilistic safety assessment for nuclear power plants, human factor engineering and resilience engineering, digital control room design, human-automation interactions, and nuclear power plant automation. A native of the Republic of Korea, he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from Chosun University.
