Daniel Wendthttps://bios.inl.gov/Lists/Researcher/DisplayOverrideForm.aspx?ID=189Daniel WendtDaniel Wendt is a process engineer at the Idaho National Laboratory with 15 years of energy research experience. He has a strong background in hybrid systems, power cycle analysis, water purification, and renewable energy technologies including geothermal power and biofuel production. He holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from University of Idaho and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Cornell University. As a research engineer assigned to Energy Resource Recovery and Sustainability Department, he has been a principal investigator in the effort to develop and field test a Switchable Polarity Solvent Forward Osmosis prototype unit for the purification of produced waters from oil and gas production operations.
