Jim performed reactor physics modeling at INL from 2003 to 2014 with an emphasis on experiment modeling for the Advanced Test Reactor. In 2014 Jim joined the Transient Reactor Test Facility (TREAT) restart team as the Reactor Engineering group lead. Since that time, he has moved into the Science Lead position for TREAT. He has served as the Publication Chair for the 8th International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Applications and Utilization of Accelerators (AccApp '07) and served as a special issue editor for the Nuclear Technology special issue on TREAT restart.
