Biography:
Chris Turner is a loving husband and proud father of five, a Salt Lake City, Utah native, and proud U.S. Navy veteran serving from 2002–2006 as a Ground Support Equipment Technician. After the Navy, he attended and graduated from the University of Utah in 2013 with bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. During and after college he worked in the natural gas industry at the Williams Companies, Inc. in various rolls, including but not limited to: safety engineer, mechanical design engineer, project engineer, project developer, project manager, and manager. Throughout his 10-year career with Williams Companies, Inc. he has traveled the country designing and executing multimillion dollar infrastructure projects to maintain and improve the nation’s critical natural gas infrastructure. He transitioned careers to INL in support of the nuclear energy industry in September 2020 and has been excelling as an experiment project manager for INL to date.
