Biography:
Kash Anderson is a research and development scientist in the Aqueous Separations and Radiochemistry Group at Idaho National Laboratory's Materials & Fuels Complex. His research areas of focus include analytical chemistry and chemical separations. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Idaho State University. Before joining INL in 2021 he was a chemical analyst at IAS Envirochem, a company based in Pocatello, Idaho. While at ISU, he participated in a research project that involved the application of new materials to detect glucose via a non-biological nanoparticle sensor. This led to a 2017 article in the journal Sensors, “A Highly Sensitive Nonenzymatic Glucose Biosensor Based on the Regulatory Effect of Glucose on Electrochemical Behaviors of Colloidal Silver Nanoparticles on MoS2," on which he was credited as lead author.
