Kuan-Ting Lin, Ph.D.

Research Areas:


​Dr. Kuan-Ting Lin is a postdoctoral research associate at Idaho National Laboratory with a background in organic synthesis, biomass chemistry, and analytical chemistry. His work, done in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Feedstock Conversion Interface Consortium, involves research into processes for converting lignin to jet fuel, and municipal solid waste sorting and characterization. Before joining INL in September 2020 he was a Ph.D. intern at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, developing and synthesizing aqueous flow battery materials with high solubility for energy storage. He holds a doctorate in engineering science from Washington State University. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s in chemistry from National Central University in Chung-Li, Taiwan.​
