Biography:

​Pamela joined the Analytical Research Laboratory (ARL) at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) at INL in November 2017. She is the Lead Chemist for the ARL Hot Cells and a member of the dissolution and separations group for sample preparation in the ARL. Work focus primarily consists of dissolving highly radioactive samples in the ARL Hot Cells in addition to characterizing Hot Cell waste and assisting with maintaining the sample stream between the ARL and sample requesting facilities. Pamela received her B.S. in biochemistry in 2013 from Idaho State University with an undergraduate research project focusing on creating 3 dimensional models of polyatomic molecular modes using Wolfram Mathematica software. Pamela received a M.S. in microbiology from Idaho State University in 2017 for characterizing lytic bacteriophage active against Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli.
