Richard Farrar has extensive experience in nuclear facility operations and management and currently works as the Research Manager for the Materials and Fuels Complex Analytical Research Laboratories at Idaho National Laboratory.  Prior to his current role, he was the Nuclear Facility Manager for the Materials and Fuels Complex Analytical Research Laboratories at Idaho National Laboratory for 4 years. He has also worked in other MFC nuclear and radiological facilities in a variety of supervisory positions.  Prior to his arrival at INL in 2010, Mr. Farrar was an instructor at Idaho State University and East Idaho Technical College.  He also maintained a family remodeling company until 2011.  Mr. Farrar has a Master of Science degree in Biology from Idaho State University. ​
