Biography:

Kaleb Houck is a digital twin research scientist at Idaho National Laboratory. His career focus is on large scale software systems with an emphasis on integration, interoperability, and automation. His current projects include building a digital twin for a new nuclear fuel cycle test bed (Beartooth) and systems engineering efforts for advanced energy application demonstration complex, ESL-II. Previous to his role in digital engineering, he led the technical efforts in a $15 million, and multi-year enterprise system upgrade of Asset Suite for INL. Prior to joining the laboratory, he was a key member in developing a battlespace digital twin utilizing LINK-16 data links for NAVAIR. He has presented at the National Lab IT (NLIT) conference, as well as ABB Customer World, on his efforts to bring DevOps and automation to the nuclear and government sectors. He holds a bachelor’s in computer science from University of Idaho.​
