Biography:

Mr. Kunal Thaker is a Senior Resilient Energy Systems Manager with the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), based in the Washington DC area. He leads work as a Program Manager (PM) and Principal Investigator (PI) for utility and national security sponsors in resilient energy systems, clean energy integration, energy storage, water security and continuity, data gathering and analysis, automated and
machine learning for energy system optimization and security, power and thermal management and advanced, electrified transportation. Mr. Thaker previously worked as an Energy Lead Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Energy team- leading staff and projects focused on energy technology and analytics. Mr. Thaker is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Maryland College Park in Mechanical and Materials Science Engineering and Energy Systems. Mr. Thaker holds certifications as an Engineer-in- Training (EIT) in the State of Maryland, a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM).
