Kortny Rolston-Duce is director of communications for the national Versatile Test Reactor (VTR) project and, also supports strategic communications for the Digital Innovation Center of Excellence (DICE). She has worked at INL on and off for the past 12 years in various communications, science writing, and business management roles. It was at INL that she discovered a passion for her communicating about science and engineering research, topics she purposely avoided during her school years. In a previous life, she worked at as a newspaper reporter and editor. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Montana and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Learning from George Washington University.
