Biography:

Jeren Browning is a software engineer for Idaho National Laboratory in the Digital and Software Engineering group. He leads and supports multiple projects and initiatives that advance and utilize Digital Engineering technologies and methodologies. His expertise is in software development, systems integration and enabling the digital thread, systems architecture, cloud computing, and cloud architecture. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s in computer information technology from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Before coming to INL, he was a software engineer for Capital One. As a member of the Card Customer Resiliency team, he led successful disaster recovery exercises for production databases and application program interfaces (APIs). On the Card Rewards team, he helped lead efforts to migrate applications from on-premise to the cloud. He served on the Training and Development Committee and was involved in both professional and college recruiting, conducting technical and behavioral interviews.
