Bradley A. Whipple is a critical infrastructure power system researcher for Idaho National Laboratory. Whipple served in the Idaho National Guard as a combat engineer for six years. He was employed by Bully Dog, now known as Derive Systems, where he reverse engineered vehicles and sold devices that re-programed vehicles to deliver more power and better fuel economy. Whipple has significant experience pulling down firmware from a JTAG interface and reverse engineering at the byte code and assembly level. He also managed a small team on engineering operations for the Heavy Duty division. Activities outside of INL include owning a business that designs and sells USB chargers that are compatible with NATO vehicles (HMMWV, Stryker, Bradley, Abrams, etc.).
