Biography:

Liam Boire is a systems engineer at Idaho National Laboratory, where he served an internship in summer 2017. He holds a master’s in systems engineering from Cornell University, where he studied model based systems engineering, risk analysis and management, systems analysis behavior and optimization, future energy systems, and water resources systems engineering. He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, minoring in sustainable energy systems. While at Cornell, he worked on applying systems engineering methods to municipal issues in energy and sustainable development, as well as emergency services in Tompkins County. His professional interests include applying systems concepts to novel situations, modeling and simulation, and supporting research in energy, water and national security.
