Richard Leavitt

Biography:
Richard S. Leavitt has been working at the Materials and Fuels Complex Analytical Laboratory since 2016. He is qualified as an AL general core worker, AL hot cell worker, and analytical French can. He has participated in development and launch of large volume shipping of remote-handled and contact-handled transuranic waste shipments to WIPP from 2007-2015. While subcontracting to WIPP, Richard was given the opportunity to work at LANL, ORNL, INL, ANL, and Hanford DOE sites. He received an Army Commendation Medal during Operation Iraqi Freedom III, and retired from the Idaho Army National Guard in 2008.
