Biography:
Will Hoffman is a mechanical engineer at the Idaho National Laboratory. While in school, he began working with the INL as an intern in the Fuel Modeling and Simulation department. He earned both his B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Idaho before becoming an INL employee in September of 2016. He currently works as a member of the Seismic Research Group performing analyses using INL’s MASTODON code. Will also works as a member of the Grizzly team where he is specifically involved in the analysis of fracture in reactor pressure vessels and the development of probabilistic fracture mechanics capabilities. Outside of work, Will is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys all of the wonderful activities Idaho has to offer.
