Biography:
ReBekah Thompson is the Program Administrator for the Nuclear Technologies Research and Development (NTRD) Advanced Fuels Campaign (AFC). In this capacity she provides direct program and administrative support to the NTRD AFC National Technical Director and Deputy Director, and works closely with program personnel providing support as needed. Ms. Thompson manages a wide array of tasks including travel arrangements, conference organization, procurements, records management, report assembly and coordination of foreign national visits and assignments. Rebekah also provides administrative support to the AFC Program's Technical Lead for Transmutation Fuels Development and the Technical Lead for the Fuels Product Line in the Nuclear Energy Advanced Modeling & Simulation (NEAMS) Program.
Ms. Thompson has over 30 years of office administration management and customer service experience through working with INL (last 9 years), City and County Governments, Not-for-Profit organizations and private industry. She served as the Chair of the INL’s Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) Employee Safety Team as well as President of the Idaho Falls Civitan Club. She also holds a current State of Idaho Notary Public Commission.
Her outside interests include spending time with family and friends (especially her grand-children), traveling, enjoying outdoor activities, community involvement and volunteer opportunities, playing and watching sports, and a variety of crafts.
