Mike is a software application developer, primarily in the web environment using Microsoft tools.  He primarily supports the ongoing operation, maintenance and enhancement of the Nuclear Material Events Database (NMED) and NRC Reactor Operating Experience Data (NROD) web applications as well as several Microsoft Access stand-alone applications. Mike has been at the INL since January 1, 1978, spending most of his time in the IT department and for the last 6-7 years in the Nuclear Science and Technology dept under manager Mike Calley.

Mike has many years experience in mostly small to medium size apps where he is the sole developer, performing the entire range of the “system lifecycle” including learning customers business, requirements gathering, database design, software design, coding, implementation and ongoing maintenance, enhancement and support. His primary development tools are Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Access.
