Biography:

Jeff Benson is the Rapid Turn Around Experiments administrator the Nuclear Science User Facilities (NSUF). He is responsible for the management of research solicitations, research/project management, and university/industry/government partner agreements. As program administrator, he managed the administration, review, and award of NSUF solicitations and execution of awarded proposal work at INL and affiliated national laboratory and university partners. Prior to joining NSUF, Jeff worked for the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) as a program administrator and at the INL as a business operations specialist. As the business operations specialist, he was responsible for management of business operations, project management, and business process improvements.

From 2000–2008, Jeff was the lead for education and university programs at INL where he supervised laboratory's K-12 programs, high school/graduate/undergraduate/teacher internships, employee education program, corporate donations, and education outreach strategy. He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and a bachelor's degree in education from Brigham Young University.
