Biography:

Daniel Ogden is the Deputy Director of the Nuclear Science User Facilities (NSUF). He assumed his NSUF role in 2014 and is responsible for funding, out year budget requests, and performance baseline, milestones and execution for the overall program, including coordinated management of multiple related projects directed toward achieving strategic goals. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (electrical) and a certified Project Management Professional with more than 30 years of experience with industry and national laboratory prime contractors, including the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin, Bechtel BWXT Idaho, LLC, and the Battelle Energy Alliance. Ogden has worked in supervisory, management and director roles on numerous complex engineering projects including the Cassini Spacecraft Propulsion Module Subsystem, the Mars ’98 Orbiter, the Mars ’01 Program, the Pit 9 Drill String Enclosure and Soil Vacuum System, and several successful Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) system installations, upgrades and testing programs. He has completed training and certification via numerous leadership, project management and professional development courses.
