Dain is the Technical Lead for Software Engineering at the Nuclear Science User Facilities (NSUF), providing custom application development for the NSUF Proposal solicitation and review system, the Nuclear Energy Infrastructure Database (NEID) and the Nuclear Fuels and Materials Library (NFML). Dain has over twenty years of experience as a 'full-stack' web application developer, with a specialization in the development of custom engineered, dynamically generated, database-driven content management systems.

When not writing code, he spends his free time writing science fiction novels. He currently has four well-received science fiction novels published on Amazon, with a fifth on the way. If the weather is nice, he is usually with his family somewhere very far from pavement exploring in his Jeep, or somewhere very far from land on his sailboat.
