Congjian Wang

Biography:
Congjian Wang is a postdoc research scientist in the Thermal Science and Safety Analysis Department at Idaho National Laboratory. In this capacity, his primary focus is developing tools and methodologies for uncertainty quantification and validation for multi-physics fuel performance simulation.
Congjian earned his doctorate in Department of Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University and his bachelor degree in Engineering Physics Department at Tsinghua University in China. His main research areas are: sensitivity and uncertainty quantification, reduced order modeling, surrogate model construction, and higher-order generalized perturbation theory. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing and swimming.
