Biography:

​Brenda Serrano-Rodriguez is a scientist and researcher in the Pyroprocessing Technology Department at Idaho National Laboratory. In this role, she supports research and development of pyroprocessing of spent nuclear fuels. One of her primary focuses is online process monitoring for pyroprocessing and actinide recovery work in projects for Fuel Cycle Research and Development (FCRD) and homeland security.

Ms. Serrano-Rodriguez has been with INL more than three years and has experience in pyroprocessing technology development. She holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and is working on a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys photography.
