Biography:

Angela Smith is a project administrator in the Risk Assessment and Management Services Department at Idaho National Laboratory. In this role, she manages an electronic library of licensee event reports and inspection reports from commercial nuclear power plants and maintains a web interface for users to search on those files. For the NS&T directorate, she maintains the NS&T home page and related information, and web pages and database tables for facility and equipment status. She also maintains the NS&T lab calendar web pages, which are used to record work authorizations for NS&T labs, designs surveys, and completes other assignments made by the NS&T chief operations officer and operations lead.  In addition, she is a technical editor and provides support for writing reports, presentations, and other publications.

Ms. Smith started at the INL more than 20 years ago. She has extensive experience in technical editing and has received two APEX Awards of Excellence for publications. She holds a B.A. in mathematics from Concordia College. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, being outside, walking, riding bike, and playing the flute.
