James Pittman is a technician for the Idaho National Laboratory’s Transient Kinetics Laboratory at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies. Transient Kinetics Laboratory at the Center for Advanced Energy Studies in late July. He has particular expertise working on Temporal Analysis of Products (TAP) systems, which are designed for precise kinetic characterization of gas-solid reactions in catalysis, adsorption, and other applications. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the fabrication of TAP systems for such customers as BASF Catalyst, University of Leipzig (Germany), University of Oslo (Norway), University of Ghent (Belgium), and Kasetsart University (Thailand). He fabricated key sub-units of the TAP Reactor System including: reactor carousel system (providing high throughput testing), micro-particle transfer device, fluid bed testing and high pressure pulsing assembly.
