Catherine Rae is a technician at Idaho National Laboratory. Her responsibilities include chemical analyses using gas chromatography, sample prep and data reduction. A good portion of her work involves “walk-in” work from various organizations site-wide. She has been area warden and is currently lab space coordinator for two labs. She performs maintenance on instruments, including cleaning, setting gas lines, and overall general maintenance. She has experience with thermal desorption unit, purge and trap, autosamplers and cryo-focusing. Her education includes work-related courses through Idaho State University, University of Idaho, Agilent Technologies, Shimadzu, and Leco.
