Biography:

Marie is part of the Cultural Resources Group in the Energy Resource, Recovery and Sustainability Department. She has a BS in Geology and Archaeology from the University of Birmingham and a MS in Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation from the University of Bradford. She has experience in archaeology, museums, environmental and archaeological sciences and her projects have included soils analysis as a method of forensic prospection, bone and tooth diagenesis and sourcing of archaeological materials. She is working towards an MS in Geographic Information Science at ISU and has recently completed work on a Historic American Landscapes Survey of the Arco Naval Proving Ground. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Nick, family and friends; usually fly fishing on the Henry’s Fork and hiking with her dog, Shep.
