Biography:

Richard McCulloch has worked in the Biofuels and Renewable Energy Technology department since 2013, when he started as an intern. Before joining INL, he taught courses at Kansas State University in mechanical engineering. He graduated with a master’s in nuclear engineering from Kansas State in 2015 after receiving a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Utah State University in 2013. His work experience spans multiple disciplines and industries, including CAD drafting and design, semiconductor research and numerical modeling of the high flux isotope reactor at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
