Biography:

Brian K. Harris is an analytical radiochemist and tech lead for radiochemistry in the Idaho National Laboratory’s Chemical and Radiation Measurements Department, with 25 years of experience providing support for the analysis of actinides, lanthanides, and various fission products in various matrices for the Advanced Test Reactor, Waste Generator Services, and other R&D customers. The work has involved alpha and beta spectrometry, separation and purification methods for radiochemistry, liquid scintillation and gas proportional counting, ICP and AA Spectrometry, X-ray, Gamma and LEPS spectroscopy. He holds a master’s degree in analytical chemistry from University of Idaho and a bachelor’s in biology from Carroll College.
