Biography: David Jamison is a test engineer/scientist at Idaho National Laboratory. David supports U.S. Department of Energy FreedomCAR energy storage development programs for the FreedomCAR Electrochemical Energy Storage Technical Team. He has participated in ultracapacitor testing to evaluate performance against FredomCAR ultracapacitor goals. David is expert in data acquisition systems. He supports electrolyte additive research and development using novel phosphazenes for clients such as SOCCOM and Princess Energies. He participates in construction and testing of button and pouch cell batteries. Test data obtained by David was instrumental in producing Journal of Power Source articles and various other publications. He received an Excellence award for outstanding safety investigation and implementation of a laboratory safety shutdown system. David holds an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Idaho. David is an avid student and has taken many post graduate courses rounding out his abilities in software development for the analysis and modeling of battery data.
