Biography:

​Sanjay Mukhi currently is the National Reactor Innovation Center's Collaboration Manager and is focused on assisting advanced nuclear reactor companies commercialize their novel platforms by supporting their demonstrations. Sanjay previously served as the National Counterterrorism Center's (NCTC's) Domestic Representative in Houston. Prior to this assignment, Sanjay served on a Joint Duty Assignment to the Department of State advancing their efforts to develop civilian nuclear energy cooperation agreements. Over the past ten years, Sanjay has served in various positions addressing nuclear and terrorism risks for the United States Intelligence Community. 

Sanjay has over 16 years in the federal government, private sector and academia, including positions as an analyst and targeter at the Central Intelligence Agency, health physicist at the Comanche Peake Nuclear Power Plant, and an adjunct professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Sanjay is the recipient of the National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation Award and CIA's Grand Challenge Award. Sanjay also completed a senior school assignment through the Washington University - Brookings Institute LEGIS Fellowship Program as a Foreign Policy Advisor in the United States Senate. Sanjay received a Master of Science in health physics and nuclear nonproliferation from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical and nuclear engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Sanjay is currently working on his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs Business School. ​
